3 Reharmonization Tricks You’ll Use Forever

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This class is geared toward novice and intermediate arrangers who are looking to increase their harmonic vocabulary. With a focus on the keyboard rather than jumping straight to vocal scoring, we will introduce and train the ear on 3 basic but incredibly useful reharmonization concepts:

- Secondary dominants
- Tritone substitution
- Chromatic substitutions

Some elements of chord voicings will be applied to these concepts. Don’t worry if you don’t know what these words mean yet!

This class is great for arrangers and singers who want to increase their understanding of harmony but aren’t quite ready to analyze advanced arrangements. The goal is for everyone to leave the class ready to use a few new chords and tricks!
