Chris Brody is from Waterford, Michigan and sings with Sound Off a cappella. His a cappella journey originally started at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Chris was a member and four-year Music Director of Gold Vibrations, with which he was able to grow and foster his love of a cappella. It was here where Chris began honing his skills in arranging and coaching, leading Gold Vibrations to the 2016 ICCA Finals and placing in the top five groups in the country.

Since then, Chris has worked with groups and clients all over North America. His projects and work is regularly featured on renowned a cappella compilation albums, including Best Of College A Cappella (BOCA), Best Of High School A Cappella (BOHSA), and Voices Only. His work has won and been nominated for several Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs).

Currently, Chris is is exploring his passion for animals in the Veterinary Medicine career. Although a pug-enthusiast at heart, his 14 year old Yorkipoo rescue is his whole world. Continuing to work in vocal music at night, Chris looks forward to what his passions have in store for him further and the community he grows with along the way.
